Now in it’s final step of testing in the FDA for approval, Avanafil is poised to be the fastest-acting Erectile Dysfunction drug on the market.

Unveiled by Biotech firm Vivus, this new powerful drug starts working in just 15 minutes, compared to the 30 minutes – 1 hour for Viagra.

The ability to work quickly is highly sought after by the male market for ED drugs – which is currently a 3.7 billion dollar industry and growing.  It’s estimated that 322 million men will be seeking treatment for Erectile Dysfunction by 2020.

When will Avanafil be on the market?   Once it passes the final tests, Vivus is looking for a 2012 launch.
